The applicant is required to demonstrate the source of his funds. In cases, where the applicant has received funds from elsewhere (family or others) a written statement from the sponsor, his sources of income and six months bank statement is to be included with the application.

  1. Hi, currently I'm having a problem regarding Fund Source, as my father will fund all the money but on my passport and on other academic papers my father name has written as BOSONTO BAHADUR LAMA, but in my father's bank account it has written as BASANTA BAHADUR LAMA.

please i need some suggestions regarding this matter ASAP so that i can amend or do some thing else.

  2. Hi!
I have an personal savings account at Islami Bank (BD) Ltd. with about 1 lac BDTk. Besides, I am a SQA Engineer having 20k BDTk/month with other facilities since March 2010 and withdraw my salary from Prime Bank Ltd (savings). My mother is a Govt. employee and gets around 15k BDTk/month having ans account savings account at Sonali Bank Ltd. I have TIN but my mother doesn't.
In this situation if I deposit 6.5 lac BDTk on my Islami Bank (BD) Ltd. savings account, what sort of documents I might present to support my fund?

  3. dear finnbd, i wanna know that they ask a written statement of sponsor which shows that he/she gives me the money for educational purpose. But the statement is written on normal white paper or stamp paper. It is very cofusing. If u know about that please make me clear about that. I will be grateful.

  12. @Arafat, you are totally right, send the TIN or other things when they demand. And when you submit your application submit also your father's 6 months bank statement/transaction.

  22. There is no problem of study gap. You can apply for engineering study even though your background is business.

  23. There was no question means your papers was ok don't worry about that. I saw many students were given visa silently ( without asking any further questions or supporting papers).

  26. Hi Finnbd,

i, along with my spouse got admission in Aalto university. we applied for resident permit on june 6th. in july 14 we called the indian embassy and they said our applications are refused but they didnot tell the reason. and said they will send us the refusal letter(which will contain the reason of refusal) by regular post. but we still havnt got it. we submitted all the required papers. and cannot figure out what cud be possibly the reason of refusal. now i want to know can i apply for resident permit again? if i can , is there any possibility of getting the visa?
    what should i do?

your quick response will be appreciated.

  27. Contact directly by Phone call or email to Finnish immigration service, Helsinki Finland. You can appeal on the decision.

  28. We called MIGRI too.....but they didnt want to give any information....they said they sent the decision to new delhi and new delhi ofc will contact with us....then we called new delhi....they said they posted it....but its been over two weeks n neither of us havnt got it. I mailed them too....but they didnt reply.
Can appeal change the decision? does such case come up with a positive solution ever?

  32. Hi guyz, my RP was rejected this august and university resended me new confirmation letter stating jan,2012 as my start of study.so i reapplied my RP at the end of sept, how long should i xpect my visa to come?...or do i 've to wait for entire 3 months till january comes?...are we treated differently by immigration simply because my RP was rejected last time and make processing longer?
