First of all Application timing, normally 7 January to 11 February is the application period for the following Autumn semester, that's mean class shall be start from 1st of September. For this application period entrance exam will be held in

Some university of applied sciences ( maximum 3)  arrange entrance exam in October-November for spring semester. For you need to apply from 1st to 20th September that time entrance exam will be held only inside of Finland. Few universities arrange "Additional application" in July for Autumn semester if any program is shortage of students in main round ( January-February round). You need to apply through that university's website, entrance exam will be arranged only inside of Finland.

Secondly require documents. An applicant must fulfill the following three requirements in order to be eligible to apply. An acceptable qualification is generally a secondary level qualification following 11-12 years of education, such as high school diploma, A-levels, senior secondary school certificate or intermediate certificate. It is not possible to apply with a temporary certificate. Transcripts, statements of results, scratch cards or provisional/temporary certificates etc. are considered as temporary certificates. Only final certificates awarded by national and regional bodies granting educational certificates will be accepted.It is not possible to apply with a higher education qualification (e.g. Bachelor's degree).

An applicant who is applying with a foreign qualification and who is not a citizen of an EU/EEA country must provide one of the following English language qualifications (excluding applicants who apply with European Baccalaureate, International Baccalaureate or Reifeprüfung-examination):
*IELTS  Minimum score requirement is academic level 6.0. (overall band score)
*TOEFL Minimum score requirement is 79-80 internet-based test or 550 paper-based test.
*Cambridge ESOLMinimum requirement is Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) or Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) CEFR level C1
*Pearson test of English Minimum requirement is Academic 51.
*Finnish National Certificate of Language Proficiency:Minimum requirement is skills level 4 in English in all parts
*Upper secondary level qualification completed in English in one of the following countries Great Britain, Ireland, United States, Canada, Australia, New Zeeland.
*Bachelor’s or Master’s degree completed in English in one of the following countries (please note that unfinished studies or qualifications completed outside these countries will not be considered):
Countries in European Union or European Economic Area, United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand.

Make your application through this website. Be careful when you make application because one student one application, if you make any mistake and try to do it second time even though  it is written in their website it is possible but I experienced website says "Your id/passport is already registered". You can maximum choose 4 program, so my advise to read the instruction in the website attentively before you make your application.

After making application you shall you receive notification through email now print that email, along with your supporting documents (photo copy of,  HSC certificate and mark sheet, IELTS score sheet and passport copy) send that to your 1st choice university's address.
